As summer fades into autumn and the school season begins, we're thrilled to announce a series of game-changing updates to BrickPlanet! Let's dive into what's new. At the end, we'll talk about what's next on our agenda.

🎮 Functional Items: Bringing Items to Life!

Gone are the days of purely cosmetic items. We're excited to introduce functional items that now work in-game! This groundbreaking feature allows for a whole new level of creativity and gameplay depth.

Functional items are now compatible across multiple games, including all upcoming BrickPlanet games. Game developers will soon have the option to enable or disable these items within their own games, offering greater control over gameplay dynamics. Additionally, most items will experience wear and tear over time, adding an extra layer of strategy as players manage the durability of their tools.

To celebrate this milestone, we're launching the Wrath of Legends crate! This exclusive collection showcases the potential of functional items, offering players unique tools and abilities that can be used directly in the game world. Imagine wielding a hammer that actually pushes players back, or a trident that allows you to teleport!

👟 Step Up Your Style: Introducing Shoes!

We are delighted to reveal an all-new category of UGC (User-Generated Content) on BrickPlanet: Shoes! Players can now unleash their creativity by designing and selling their own custom shoes, adding a fresh layer of personalization to the platform.

Even better, you can choose to release your shoe designs as Rare items, allowing for limited-edition drops that players can trade or collect. Whether you’re a creator looking to showcase your artistic flair or a collector aiming for the rarest kicks, this update opens up a whole new avenue for creativity and commerce.

🔨 Bug Fixes and Improvements

Alongside these major updates, here's some other small things we did:

-Fixed an issue where you could not see the search bar on the Players page when using a mobile device

-Female avatars now work properly when rendering your avatar

-Improved the edit avatar page

-You can now earn 5XP for each Crate that you open

-Re-added the Level system due to player requests

Coming soon, we’ll be introducing new ways to earn XP in-game! Plus, we’re launching an XP Shop where you can spend your hard-earned XP on exclusive rewards like Crates and Rare items.

Lifetime Memberships
We’re also excited to announce an upcoming shift from monthly memberships to lifetime memberships! With a one-time payment, you’ll enjoy permanent access to exclusive perks. Plus, you’ll have the option to sell your membership to another player for on-platform currency at any time.
